Mayra is a certified Perfect Health Ayurveda Lifestyle and Primordial Sound Meditation Instructor through the Chopra Center and the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN). She is also an experienced Hatha yoga teacher, dedicated to supporting professionals in Houston’s Energy Corridor with corporate wellness solutions. With a background in Spa and Wellness Management from the University of California, Irvine, Mayra blends holistic healing, mindfulness, and movement to help individuals cultivate balance, resilience, and well-being. She is passionate about empowering others to lead healthier, happier lives.

Explores the healing power of the five senses: sound, touch, sight, taste, and smell. You will learn how to strengthen the body’s inner pharmacy using sensory practices to balance each of the Mind-Body types. Your Sound, Smell, and Sight senses balance your mind. Your senses of Touch and Taste balance your physical body. You will learn what colors, music, aromas, tastes, and touch therapies are adequate to manage your type of stress.

Learn about the rhythms of nature and how they impact the Mind-Body clock. The characteristics of each Dosha time and periods, create your optimal daily routine. Learn the seasonal routines, detoxification, restful sleep, mindful movement, and pranayama.
