Let’s Talk About Wellness - Fall 2024
Dear Rose Lane Wellness Community,
Happy fall, everyone!! As we transition into the cooler and drier autumn months, it’s time to align ourselves with the changing rhythm of nature. Ayurveda, the ancient science of holistic health, guides us to adapt our diets and routines to stay balanced, energized, and cozy throughout the Vata season.
In this edition, we’re excited to share our Ayurveda Autumn Self-Care Guide, perfect for helping you embrace fall with nurturing practices, warm meals, and comforting routines.
Please follow us on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and/or TikTok to stay connected with us every week.
Hope to see you in person at Rose Lane Wellness!
Sincerely,
The Rose Lane Wellness Team
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is considered one of the oldest medical systems in the world and the first writings referring to Ayurveda date back to 1200 B.C.E.
Your Mind-Body Constitution (Dosha)
Ayurveda teaches us that the five elements arrange themselves into three essential laws of life: movement, metabolism, and structure, and these are the Doshas - defined in Sanskrit as Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. The three types of energy, constitutions or Doshas are present in every one of us as a mixture of the five elements.
The Benefits of Ayurveda
Ayurveda reveals that all health-related measures, whether an exercise program, diet plan, or herbal supplements, must be based on an understanding of an individual’s unique mind-body constitution or Dosha.
